Johnnie Ray Parks, age 58, of Hiram, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2007. He was born on August 28, 1948 to the late John Parks Jr. and Mary Frances Dodgen. He was a freight broker for the transportation industry. Mr. Parks was a Marine Corps veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Elaine Parks of Hiram; son, Richard Parks of Hiram; sister, Deborah Hicks of Dallas, GA; step-sister, Paulette Crutchfield of Douglasville, GA; step-mother, Oree Parks of Douglasville, GA; step-father, Jon Dodgen of Hiram, GA ; 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Mr. Roger Dodgen officiating. The interment will follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
