Johnny Deaton, Jr., age 62, of Dallas, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010. He was born in Atlanta, GA, June 7, 1948, to Johnny Booth Deaton, Sr. and the late, Betty Katherine Deaton. Mr. Deaton was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U. S. Army. He was retired from Cobb County Toyota as a service writer and had previously worked for Town Center Toyota. Mr. Deaton was a member of Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta.
Survivors include his sons & daughter-in-law, Andrew & Nicole Deaton of Dallas, GA and Josh Deaton of Ripley, OH; daughters & son-in-law, Mandy & Jordan Andree of Kennesaw, GA and Tiffany Deaton of Ripley, OH; father, Johnny Booth Deaton, Sr. of Lithia Springs, GA; sister, Joan White of Lithia Springs, GA; grandchildren, Chris Deaton and Kirsten Deaton.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Steve Weldon officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
