Jon Barry Stanley

Jon Barry Stanley, age 42, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. He was born on May 13, 1977 in Austell, GA to his parents; Jack and Kathy Stanley. Mr. Stanley attended Westridge Church and worked for Wellstar Thoracic Group. He previously had worked as a Physicians Assistant at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in the emergency department and as a paramedic for American Medical Response, Puckett Ambulance, Clark Ambulance and Ambucare. Along with working as a physicians assistant and a paramedic, he also worked as a flight medic for Rescue Air One. Jon had a heart to help those in need and loved Jesus dearly. He was a musician and enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and the drums. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Landmon Stanley.

Survivors include his father and step-mother; Jack and Elaine Stanley of Villa Rica, GA, children; Jon Hayden Stanley of Kennesaw, GA, Phillip Jackson Stanley of Dallas, GA, Kristen Eve Stanley of Dallas, GA, mother of his children, Tinian Kai Stanley of Hiram, GA, brother, Lee Stanley of Dallas, GA,  grandparents; JoAnn Stanley of Dallas, GA, Edna Landmon of Mableton, GA, aunts, uncles and 2 nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Stanley will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 5:00 PM from Picketts Mill Baptist Church with Dr. Marc Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 2:00 PM until the service begins at 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to Calvary Children’s Home in Powder Springs, GA. in memory of Mr. Stanley.
