Juanita Simmons

Juanita Simmons, age 84, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012. She was born August 31, 1927, in Quincy, Florida, and was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Henry Goodson; mother, Annie Catherine Goodson Dykes; and husband, Lacy William Simmons, Sr. Mrs. Simmons was the CEO of Simmons Engineering.
Survivors include her children, Lacy William Simmons, Jr. of Woodstock, GA, Cynthia Ann Simmons of Dallas, GA, Janice Simmons Garner of Acworth, GA and Merritt “Buck” Simmons of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Stacy Scott, Lacy William “Chip” Simmons, III, Warren Barnes, Jr., Nicholas Simmons, Erin Garner and Jonathan Garner; great-grandchildren, Brent Scott, Amy Scott, Matthew Simmons, Sidney Simmons, Caleb Simmons and Sarah Garner; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, with Jonathan Garner, Brent Scott, Warren Barnes, Lacy Simmons,III, Kevin Scott, Todd Hall, Adam Costlow and Jack Waldrop serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, March 16, 2012, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
