June Nice

June A. Nice, age 89 of Dallas, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014. She was born on July 1, 1925, in Michigan, to the late Edward & Ida Werth. Ms. Nice was self-employed and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Hiram, GA. She helped start Advent Lutheran Church in Boca Raton, FL, was a member of Lutheran Women’s League and volunteered at Sheppard’s Rest and Helping Hands. She was very active in the church and serving the community.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jeff & Jamie Wittenberg of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Jill Wittenberg of Dallas, GA, John Wittenberg of Dallas, GA, and Julianna Wittenberg of Dallas, GA; great-grandchildren, Luke Wittenberg of Dallas, GA, and Izabella Casiano of Dallas, GA; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Poston officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, from 1:00 PM until the service time.
