Biography June Driskell Thomason, age 75, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2007. She was born on June 22, 1931 in Paulding County to the late Hubert W. and Irene Croker Driskell. She was a retired manager of Tenneco Food Stores and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Thomason was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Thomason and her brother, Homer Driskell.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Keith & Hazel Clonts of Columbia, S.C., Bruce Clonts of Columbia, S.C. and Barry & Mary Claire Clonts of Columbia, S.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy & Alan Fisher of Mexico; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard & Pam Driskell of Hiram; sisters and brother-in-law, Jean Driskell May of Acworth and Barbara Driskell Mitchell and husband, Jack of Hiram; sister-in-law, Eloise Tucker Driskell of Hiram; special family friend, Carl Carroll; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Eric Motley.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Rev. Jim Gable and Rev. Jimmy Driskell officiating. The interment will follow in New Harmony Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
