Junior McDowell

Junior Lawrence "Mac" McDowell, age 76, of Douglasville, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008. He was born on August 7, 1931 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia to the late Harvey & Brownie McDowell. He owned Comfort & Convenience Systems, serving the metro Atlanta area for over 20 years. Mr. McDowell was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War and was a retired Senior Master Sergeant with Dobbins Air Force Base Civil Service.
Surviving are his wife, Sherry McDowell; his sons and daughters-in-law, David & Pam McDowell of Dawsonville, GA, Jim McDowell of Lawrenceville, GA, Tim & Rachel Hill of Dallas, GA, Chris Watson of Douglasville, GA and Jeff & Tabatha Watson of Douglasville, GA; his daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy Garrett of Marietta, GA, Kimberlee & Paul Kiska of Sharpsburg, GA, Pamela Johnson of Temple, GA and Melissa & Brad Hamby of Aragon, GA; sisters, Ruth Smith of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Madeline Chapin of Cumberland, Virginia; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
