Justin Allan Whitaker, age 29, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. He was born on August 16, 1992 to Allan Whitaker and the late Jennifer Ward. Justin loved fishing, going muddin’ on his four wheeler, doing burnouts, and hanging out at bonfires with friends. Most importantly, Justin loved his family. He adored his nieces and nephews and had a heart of gold, always willing to help anyone in need. Justin was and still is very loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Justin is preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Ward, his sister; Krista Smith, his great grandfather; Adam Marlow, great grandparents; Gene and Mary Turner, and Elmer and Naomi Whitaker, uncles; Adam Simpson and Danny Marlow, and his cousin; Blake Shelton. He is survived by his father; Allan Whitaker, his stepmother; Brandy Whitaker, grandparents; Paul and Roberta Whitaker, Scott and Pat Simpson, and Berry and Angela Roper, great grandmother; Christine Marlow, his siblings; Shawn Robert Whitaker, Arial Marie Whitaker, Ryan Wilson, and Ashley Wilson, aunts and uncles; Renae (Scott) Hall, Sandy Bivins, Patty (Mark) Williamson, Sandy (Shawn) Wellborn, and Benny (Kim) Shelton, cousins; Chelsea and Bradley Hall, Lakin Stephens, Austin Bivins, Ivy Sims, Keith and Kayla Brown, nieces and nephews; Braille, Carter, Mason, Hunter, Paysen, Ella, Melanie, Bailey, and a host of other cousins and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services for Justin will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home at 11:00am. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery with Ryan, John, Austin, Keith, Bradley, Mike, and Lakin serving as pallbearers.
