Kate Foster

Kate Foster, age 86, of Atlanta, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009. She was born April 13, 1923, in Paulding County, to the late, Clarence Stead Foster and the late, Elizabeth Cordelia Watson Foster. Her brother, James C. (Jim) Foster preceded her in death. Ms. Foster retired in 1985 from Sears, after 41 years as a Computer Systems Analyst. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church in Atlanta.
Survivors include her sisters, Clare Nesmith of Marietta and Sarah Foster of Dallas; nieces, Reverend Clare Nesmith and Deidre Leigh Mullis.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 13, 2009, at 11:00 AM, from the First United Methodist Church of Dallas, with Rev. Steve Schofield, Rev. Mary Ruth Davidson and Rev. James Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
