Katherine Baggett White, a lifelong resident of Paulding County, died peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the age of 95. She was born on April 20, 1929 in Dallas, Georgia, the daughter of the late Aubrey and Fae Clark Baggett. She lived a rich and fulfilling life marked by her deep devotion to family, faith, and the joys of simple living. Katherine worked as a parapro for Paulding County Schools for over 25 years
Katherine loved her Lord and was a lifelong and faithful member of White Oak Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Katherine exemplified the spirit of independence and warmth and cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, providing love and guidance that created a legacy cherished by her family.

Katherine had a passion for country cooking, often hosting delightful family gatherings around her table filled with comfort food and laughter. She was not only an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves but also dedicated her time to caring for her yard and nurturing her flower garden, where she found peace and purpose.
Katherine's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love for her family, dedication to her church, and the simple pleasures that brought her joy. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by those whose lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, Katherine was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Osara White; her son, Steve White; her brother, Richard Baggett and her sister, Clara Mae Baggett.
Katherine is survived by her sons: Larry White and his wife, Becky, and David White and his husband Ray Zavacki; her sister, Sue Hunt; grandchildren: Valerie (Glenn) Heal and Kevin (Kail) White; great grandchildren: Kylie Hoggard, Braxton White Addie Heal and Ella Heal; great-great grandson, Ryker Hoggard; her niece and nephews: Stephanie (Mark) Williamson, Clay Hunt, and Chris Baggett; great nieces and great nephews: Meagan (James) Hack, Brittany Cochran, Amanda Baggett, Jared (Madison) Williamson, Caleb Hunt, and Devon Baggett; great-great niece and nephews: Ella Williamson, Clark Hack and Clive Hack.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 11:00 am until the service hour.
The Funeral service for Katherine White will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 1:00 pm in Sam Clark Chapel with Reverend Keith Lee and Reverend Jeff Byrd officiating.
Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens with Kevin White, Braxton White, Tony Watson, Matthew Lee, Mark Williamson, and Glenn Heal serving as Pallbearers.
