Kenneth Cook

On October 31, 2023 our sweet Ken went home to Heaven. We lost an amazing husband, dad, boompa, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He meant absolutely everything to everyone he knew and was so precious to so many. He loved his family and so many very deeply. He fought so hard to stay with us as long as he could but on Halloween, a day that was special to him, he earned his angel wings and is healthy again with no more pain.

Ken "Allen" Cook Jr. was born on February 26, 1980, the oldest son of Kenneth and Judy Cook in Birmingham, Alabama.

Ken "Allen" loves his family but loves God first. He has a gentle and kind spirit and is always willing to help anyone in need. Ken "Allen" would always manage to put a smile on your face. His dedication and love for his family is a true definition of what a family man is. There is no end to his love for family friends and God. He enjoys spending time at church, shooting guns and enjoying a good meal with family and friends.

Ken "Allen" had many friends throughout his working career that he stayed in touch with and treasured their friendships.

Ken "Allen" is preceded in death by his Nanny and Paw Paw Amerine.

Ken "Allen" is survived by his wife, Shayna Cook; a son, Noah (Gyanna) Cook; a daughter, Gabriella Cook; two brothers, Charlie Cook, Chris (Amber) Cook; three sisters-in-law, Gemma (Jeff) Jacobs, Ariana Barreca, Sabrina Barreca; a grandaughter, Oaklyn Rose Cook; neices and nephews, David Cook, Issac Cook, Liz Jacobs, Julie Jacobs, Megan Jacobs, Hailee Jacobs, Grace Cook, Hailey Blackwell, Brooklynn Davis, Mathew Cook, McKenna Cook, Cody Causey and Kaela Causey.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, November 04, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Memorial Service for Ken "Allen" will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ryan Vargas officiating.
