Lacy Harold Dale Sr., age 80, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. He was born on May 15, 1940 in Boaz, AL, to his late parents; John and Ruby Dale. Lacy was a faithful member of Northwest Christian Church and served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Dale was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Dale and his grandson, Brant Swafford.

Mr. Lacy Dale Sr. is survived by his loving wife, Millie Dale of Dallas, GA, children; John Ray Dale (Kristi) of Rockmart, GA, Lacy Harold Dale Jr. (Rhonda) of Rockmart, GA, Debbie Freeman Teddar (Carl) of Dallas, GA, Brian Rucker of Woodstock, GA, Tracey Rucker of Acworth, GA, brothers; Leon Dale (Melba) of Marietta, GA, Richard Dale (Evelyn) of Tifton, GA, Billy Dale (Lillie) of Cullman, AL, Hollis Dale (Susan) of Douglasville, GA, sisters; Joyce Dale Harper of Huntsville, AL, Judy Dale Larkin (Tommy) of Hilton Head, S.C., Toni Dale Pinkowski (Rich) of Hilton Head, S.C. grandchildren; Emily Dober, Faith Biggs, Jacob Biggs, Kayla Dale Blan (David), Amanda Dale Hoskins (Mark), Jessica Dale Scott (Cory), Megan Dale, Michael Dale (Erica) Blake Swafford (Molly), Tiffany Swafford Stell (Scott), Luke Rucker, Trey Rucker, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Lacy Harold Dale Sr. will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Paulding Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen; David Blan, Mark Hoskins, Michael Dale, Cory Scott, Blake Swafford, Trey Rucker, Luke Rucker and Scott Stell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Dale Sr. safe.
