Larry Postell Gaines, age 63, of Powder Springs, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011. He was born on November 19, 1947, in Waco, TX, to the late James Stewart & Alma Gaines. Mr. Gaines was self-employed as a truck driver and was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors include sons, Johnathan Gaines of Powder Springs, and Larry Postell Gaines, JR, of Powder Springs; daughter, Natasha Gaines of Rome; brothers, Ronald Gaines of Waco, TX, Bigen Gaines of Waco, TX, and Peewee Gaines of Waco, TX; sisters, Debra Ann Gaines of Waco, TX, and Faye Gaines of Waco, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At the family’s request, the body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
