Larry Frank Hammond, age 57, of Lithia Springs, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011. He was born on May 24, 1953, in Austell, GA, to the late Toy Eugene & Wylene Hammond. Mr. Hammond was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed as a truck driver.
Survivors include, wife, Darlene Hammond of Lithia Springs; sons, Larry Hammond of Douglasville, and Cliff Hammond of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth & Phillip Clifton of Douglasville; brothers, Gene & Tina Hammond of Palmetto, and Wayne & Delana Hammond of Carrollton; eleven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Larry Beach officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. Daniel Miller, Jeff Miller, Toy Hammond, Christopher Hammond, Darrell Landrum, and Wesley Howes will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
