Larry G. Lewis, age 78, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. He was born on February 15, 1938, in Jefferson City, Missouri, to the late Harry Clifford & Flossie Mae Lewis, and was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Lewis, brother, Jim Lewis, and brother-in-law, Sam Griffith. Mr. Lewis was a United States Army Veteran, retired from Equifax as a manager of purchasing after 30 years of service, and was a member of Dallas First Assembly of God. He enjoyed spending time at church and with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Carol Lewis; son and daughter-in-law, Michael W. & Rebecca D. Lewis of Cedartown, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Meredith & Alan Billingsley of Dallas, GA; brothers, Reverend David & Sue Lewis of Louisville, KY, and John & Gloria Lewis of Louisville, KY; sister, Marilyn Griffith of Kennesaw, GA; sister-in-law, Wanda Lewis of Jefferson City, Missouri; grandchildren, Kaitlyn & Brennon Mayton, Lauren Lewis, Ashley Lewis, Kristen Long and Anna Grace Lewis; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at 3 PM, from Dallas First Assembly of God, with Pastor Brad Fussell officiating. Entombment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Wray, Ed Keane, Donald Newton, Danny McCullough, Tom Barrett & Bob Wick. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 9, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM.

Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to Dallas First Assembly of God at 64 Holder Road, Dallas, GA, in remembrance of Mr. Larry G. Lewis.
