Larry Queen

March 18, 1940 — February 6, 2021

Gaines Larry Queen, age 80, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021. He was born on March 18, 1940 to his late parents, Bobby Lance and Frances Queen. Larry was known as an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. He spent his spare time reading and working in his garden, tending to his tomato plants. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers; Guy Passmore and Bobby Queen.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Queen, daughters; Debbie (Jerry) Fowler of Dallas, GA. and Bridget (Paul) Inskeep of Dallas, GA., sister; Glenda Passmore of North Carolina, brothers; R.L. Passmore of North Carolina and Goldman Passmore of North Carolina, grandchildren; Kara Lynn (Joseph) Watkins, Brett (Anna) Meads, Ressa Hope Fowler, Andrew Inskeep, great-grandchildren; Elizabeth “Liz” and Madison “Maddie”, along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Queen will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 9:30 AM until the time of service.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Queen safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
