Leroy Boswell

Leroy Boswell, age 81, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014. He was born on May 26, 1933, in Grantville, GA, to the late Joe and Hattie Mae Boswell, and was preceded in death by his son, Leroy Boswell, JR. Mr. Boswell was self employed for over 40 years as a carpenter. He was a very special man and loved everyone. Mr. Boswell enjoyed eating, fishing and his happiest moments was when he was spending time with his family.

Survivors include wife of 63 years, Gloria Boswell of Dallas; daughters, Deborah Grimm of Villa Rica, Malley (Cheril) Gilreath of Hiram, GA, Katherine & Tony Bennett of Villa Rica; son, Randy & Angie Boswell of Dallas, GA; adopted daughter, Carol Haynes of Douglasville, GA; brothers, Bobby & Marlene Boswell of Calhoun, GA, and Harry Boswell of Newnan, GA; sister, Nancy Allister of Williamston, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend David New officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Garden. Trent Boswell, Nathan Grimm, Emory Epps, Tyler Campbell, Timmy Campbell, Matt Jagger, Randy Chambers and Austin Garner will serve as pallbearers. Joseph Wallace will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
