Lillian Forrester Boring

Lillian Forrester Boring, age 87, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away September 23, 2024. She was born January 24, 1937, the daughter of the late Fred Monroe Forrester and the late Ella Puckett Forrester. Lillian worked for RCA Distributors, Cobb Radiology and others. 

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Austell, Georgia. Lillian was a beacon of faith, finding solace in the arms of her church and the stirring melodies of gospel hymns. Her hands were skilled, especially in the art of cake-baking, where she poured love and dedication into each confection she crafted from scratch. A holiday tradition saw her laboring over two cakes a day, offering them to friends to create moments of sweetness and joy with their loved ones. 

In addition to her parents, Lillian was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Bradford Boring; and her siblings: Delbert Forrester, Howard Samuel Forrester, Ruby Davis, Ruth Orr, and Blonnie Patterson. 

Lillian is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Gina Boring; step-daughter, Letitia Swearengin; grandson, Joshua Charles Boring and his wife, Whitney; granddaughter, Shannon Johnston and her husband, Chris; sister, Mildred Smith; two great grandchildren, Ana Boring and Melody Boring; several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. 

A Graveside Service will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, 5979 New Bethany Road, Buford, Georgia.
