Lillian Golden, age 70, of Bremen, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was born on July 22, 1945, in Cedartown, GA, to the late Ben & Essie Lou Davis, and was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Butler and grandson, Adam Thompson. Mrs. Golden retired as deli manager at Ingles after 14 years of service and also worked at Fletchers Restaurant in Dallas. Lillian was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and also attended First Pentecostal Church in Villa Rica.
Survivors include husband of 23 years, Larry Clarence Golden of Bremen, GA; children, Pam Thompson of Cartersville, GA, Tammy Gray of Austell GA, and Sonya Gray of Rockmart, GA; step-sons, Travis & Deborah Golden of Dallas, GA, and Daryl & Janice Golden of Dallas GA; sister, Jackie & Kenneth Golden of Bremen, GA; ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Eddie Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. Christopher Waggoner, Barry Pearson, Gary Morris, Tyler Brooks, Dustin Hunt, and David Lawson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
