It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Baker, who passed away on February 17, 2025. She was born on January 10, 1948 in Elberton, Georgia and she was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cherished friend, who will be dearly missed.

Linda was a woman of adventurous spirit, known for her love of travel. She embraced life with enthusiasm, always seeking new experiences and opportunities for exploration. Her favorite destination was the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska, where she found solace and inspiration in the great outdoors.

In addition to her passion for travel, Linda cherished the moments spent enjoying dinners at various restaurants, relishing the joys of fellowship with family and friends. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, making her not only a beloved family member but also a treasured friend to all who knew her.

Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband, David Baker, and her parents, Morris Vernon Thayer and Sidney Elree Slay Thayer.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Aaron Harmer; two grandsons, Zach Harmer and Luke Harmer; her sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Jerry White; her niece, Hillary White and her beloved and devoted 4-legged companion Buddy.

Linda's family and friends will gather to honor her memory and celebrate her life in a memorial service to be held at a later date.

Linda will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her keen sense of adventure, and her deep love for family and friends. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
