In Loving Memory of Linda Sue Deaton

Linda Sue Deaton, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2023, at the age of 65. She was born on February 15, 1958, in Frankfurt Germany on the side of the Autobahn. Linda was a caring sister, an adored aunt, and a cherished friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her kind heart and infectious joy.

Linda never met a stranger. She had a special talent for making everyone feel welcome and accepted. With her warm smile and friendly nature, she effortlessly formed connections and brightened the lives of those she encountered. Her genuine love for people will be remembered for her ability to bring people together.

In addition to her exceptional interpersonal skills, Linda was a successful businesswoman. As the proud owner and operator of a motel in North Dakota, she worked tirelessly, ensuring her guests felt comfortable and taken care of. Linda's dedication and commitment to her work reflected her genuine desire to provide excellent service to others.

Family was at the center of Linda's life. In the past year, she sold her motel and bought a home in Alabama to be closer to her family. Even though Linda never had any children of her own, she considered her nieces and nephews her own. She cherished the moments spent with her loved ones and embraced her role as the "fun Aunt."

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Elwood Deaton Sr. and Leota Deaton, and her brother-in-law, Steve Maner.

Linda is survived by her sisters; Johna (HF) Barnes, and Anita Maner, brothers; George (Barbara) Philips, and Richard Deaton Jr., and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
