Linda Faye Hester, 80, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away May 4, 2023.
Linda was born February 21, 1943 to Irvin and Ruby Turner.
Linda enjoyed so many things, and some of the things she was most passionate about was gardening, being in the mountains and sewing. Also, Linda was the best cook and made the best cakes around. She will be missed dearly.
In addition to her parents, Irvin Turner and Ruby New, Linda is preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert New.
Linda is lovingly survived by her daughters; Leslie Smith and Cindy Arko, her sisters; Joan Garner (Ronnie), Nancy Lightcap (Dan), brother; Chris New (Sandy), as well as her four grandchildren, Jessica Arko, Nicholas Arko, Sierra Smith, Reed Smith, and her great grandson Jaxon Dudley.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home.
