Linda Alice (Crowley) Ray

Linda Alice Ray passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023. She was born on June 26, 1943, Daughter of Edward and Martha Harrell Crowley in Dallas, GA. She worked as a Seamstress with J.H. Blocks and Marietta Drapery and she was a cook for Paulding Wellstar Hospital for over 20 years. Linda enjoyed being outside mostly working in her garden or bird watching, especially Hummingbirds. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years Charles Ray; son, Thomas Ray; daughter, Misty Conley; brothers, Thomas Crowley, Cheryl Crowley, and a grandchild, Sara Conley.

She is survived by her son, Eddie (Janet) Ray; daughters, Sandie (Gene) Melton, Cherrie Ray; brother, Andy Crowley; sister, Elaine Tate; 10 grandkids; 24 great-grandkids, and a host of other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA on July 1, 2023, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. A graveside service will follow immediately at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Mark Gamel, T.J. Gamel, Michael Conley, Steven Sinyard, Joey Sellers, and Gene Melton serving as pallbearers.
