Lois Benedict

Lois "Nanny" O’Neal Benedict, age 77, of Hiram, GA, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. The daughter of the late, Robert F. O’Neal & the late, Nellie Hall O’Neal, she was born February 8, 1936, and was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney C. Benedict. She had worked as a secretary for Fischbach & Moore Electrical Engineers and was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Mableton, GA.

Survivors include her children, Pam & Randy Sanders of Dallas, GA, Melody & Steve White of Hiram, GA and Skip & Rhonda Simmons of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Joshua M. Stone (Christy), Jennifer Hale (Quentin), Justin Stone (Ashley), Austin O. White, Sydney Faith White, Brian Simmons (Becky), Cindy M. Allen (Ricky), Joshua K. Simmons, Jacob B. Simmons, Aaron White (Alyssa), and Abram White; great-grandchildren, Chelsey Augustine, Chase Hale, Daylan Barnett, Deznie Barnett, Raven Carroll, Bladen Carroll, Kaley Simmons, and Presley Sanders.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Richard Wilkins and Pastor Eddie Barton officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 11:00 AM until the service time.
