Lois Horne

Lois McMichen Horne, age 83, of Douglasville, GA (Paulding Co) passed away on Friday, June 6, 2013. She was born on July 18, 1929 in Hiram, GA. to E.N. “Hoke” McMichen and Annie Mae Thompson McMichen who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Cecil E. Horne, Sr. and brother , Charles McMichen. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and retired from Owens Illinois as a secretary.
Survivors include sons, Cecil E. Horne, Jr. ( Judy Elizabeth) of Dallas, GA and David M. Horne (Bobbie) of Douglasville, GA, daughter, Debbie (Tom) Bragg of Douglasville, GA, and sister Gayle (Jimmy) Earwood of Dallas, GA, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Hiram, GA with Pastor Wayne Meadows and Pastor Terry Marbut officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
