Lois Smith, age 76, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011. The daughter of the late, Pete & Elbertie Bone, she was born September 6, 1934, in Dallas, GA and was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Smith, son, Robert Sullivan, daughter, Shirley Sullivan and sister, Mary Lee Miller. She attended The Lord’s House Church in Dallas.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Jean Smith of Dallas, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Robert & Jean Bone of Dallas, GA and Billy & Barbara Bone of Dallas, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Vera Jo Croley of Villa Rica, GA, Virginia Evans of Dallas, GA, and Carol & Terry Dobbins of Buchanan, GA; numerous nieces & nephews; numerous great-nieces & great-nephews; numerous great-great nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend James Tidwell and Reverend Gerald Gann officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, with Allen Bone, Joseph Bone, Alan Adair, Rocky Franklin, Sam George and Jason Johnson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 14, 2011, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
