Lorene Brooks

Lorene Brooks, age 90, of Woodstock, GA, passed away at Tranquility at Cobb Hospice on Thursday, December 12, 2019. She was born on July 13, 1929 in Marietta, GA, to her late parents; Clifford and Laverne Bearden. Mrs. Brooks worked as a machine operator for Canton Cotton Mills for more than ten years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Turner and her son, Bobby Michael Turner.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Shinall of Dallas, GA, brother, Bill Bearden of Ball Ground, GA, sister, Reba Jones of Michigan, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Lorene Brooks will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Paulding Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the graveside service begins at 3:00 PM.
