Loyd Jones

Loyd Vonzelle Jones, age 70, of Rome, GA, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013. He was born in Dallas, GA, February 5, 1943, to the late, George Columbus Jones & the late, Flora Agness Shipp Jones. Mr. Jones served in the U. S. Air Force. He retired as an auto parts representative for Edwards Sales in Rome, GA.
Survivors include his daughter, Heather Elaine Jones of Rome, GA ; sons & daughter-in-law, Carter Loyd Jones & wife, Bonnie of Rome, GA and Warren Scott Jones of Bremen, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Carlos & Jeannie Jones of Hiram, GA, Jimmy & Joyce Jones of Douglasville, GA and Hollis Jones of Centre, AL; sister, Frances Rakestraw of Hiram, GA; grandchildren, Luke Jones, Hayden Jones and Heather Jones Hidi; great-grandchildren, Carter Jones, Alexander Hidi, Noah Hidi and Katherine Hidi.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, on Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. In honoring Mr. Jones wishes, he was cremated.
Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
