Lula Hogan

Lula Parks Hogan, age 93, of Dallas, GA, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014. She was born on March 20, 1921 in Dallas, GA and was preceded in death by her parents, William & Donie Parks; husband, Calvin Wayne Hogan; and son & daughter-in-law, Ned Eugene Lester & wife, Susan. Mrs. Hogan was a member of the Christian Church in Temple, GA.

Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Harlon Baxter of Dallas, GA and Donald & Hazel Baxter of Christmas, FL and Albert & Kathy Hogan of Dallas, GA; daughters & sons-in-law, Naomi & Mike Strong of Orlando, FL and Patricia & Harold Morris of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Mark Roberts (Susie), Willie Roberts (Pam), John Roberts (Kim), Debbie Smith, Matt Roberts (Chris), Carol Wells (Ray), Kelly Lawrence (Bennett), Amy Crowe (Michael), Kevin Baxter, Shawn Baxter (Jennifer), Lori Morris, Angie McCoy (Deron), Scott Morris, Al Hogan (Amy), Felicia Womack (Brent), Kenna Thornburg (Jacob), and Caleb Hogan, Derrick Craton (Shannon), ; thirty-two great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Brad Benson officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 30, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
