Lynette King

Lynette Mae King, age 90, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. She was born on September 30, 1924, in Santa Marta, Columbia, to the late Leonard & Thama Irene King, and was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Vernon St. Anthony King. Ms. King was the owner of Lyn’s Hair Salon for several years.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne Michael Garfield & Brenda King of Queens, NY; daughter, Thama Stewart of Dallas, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Norma & Bloss Whitelocke of Dallas, GA; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salesian Missions, 2 Lefevre Lane, New Rochelle, N.Y. 10801-5710.
