With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lynn Lairsey Keener, a cherished sister, devoted healthcare professional, and beloved friend. Lynn was born on December 27, 1956, in Millen, GA, and died on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 68.
Lynn dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Primecare, where she profoundly impacted the lives of those she served. Her compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her patients will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Lynn found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a special affinity for the mountains and cherished her trips to Virginia, creating lasting memories in the beauty of nature. Beach trips, reading, visits to the lake, and casino outings brought her great happiness.
Lynn is survived by her loving siblings: Teresa Shipp (David), Sue Blackstock, Laura Wheeling (Jay), Mark Lairsey, Jr. (Janet), and Lee Lairsey (Leeann). Her warmth and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Lynn's funeral service will take place Friday, February 14, 2025, at Sam Clark Chapel at 1:00 p.m., with visitation starting at Clark Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. Her brother, Pastor Lee Lairsey, will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are Scott Blackstock, Stephen Dorsey, Mark Dorsey, Tim Dorsey, Kyle Brock, Mandi Shipp, and Anthony Dorsey. We invite all who knew and loved Lynn to join us in celebrating her extraordinary life and the cherished memories she leaves behind.
Flowers are welcomed, but those who wish may make a donation in memory of Lynn to a Home Healthcare Charity of their choice.
Lynn was preceded in death by parents Mark Lairsey, Sr. and Johnnie Lairsey, husband Wayne Keener, sisters Evelyn Brock and Edna Bradley, and brother Chuck Lairsey.
