Margaret (Collins) Greene

Margaret "Peggy" A. Greene passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the age of 84. Margaret entered this world March 4, 1937, born to John and Agnes Collins in Boston, Massachusetts. In her lifetime, she lived many places, including Georgia, Florida and Las Vegas, Nevada, but her heart always belonged to her hometown, South Boston, Massachusetts. On June 13, 1959, Peggy married the love of her life, Richard P. Greene, and together, they raised two beautiful daughters, Maryalice and Tracey-Marie. Peggy cherished all time spent with her family. She really enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, going to shows, listening to Irish music, and listening to a personal favorite, Elvis Presley. Peggy had a full life and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Peggy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard P. Greene; parents, John J. and Agnes V. Collins; and her three brothers John, Richard, and Donald Collins. She is survived by her daughters, Maryalice E. McCauley of Georgia and Tracey-Marie P. Fedor of New Hampshire; grandchildren, John D. McCauley, Kearey L. McCauley, Stephen R. McCauley, Nicholas S. Fedor, Kelly E. Arsitz; and great-grandchildren, Milo McCauley and Maverick McCauley.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Highway, Hiram, GA 30141, at 11:00am. The family will then process to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 680 West Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132, for a 12:00pm Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Make A Wish Foundation. This charity was very dear to Margaret's heart and she worked with the Foundation while in Florida. Donations in any amount can be made at https://wish.org.
