Margaret C. “Gret” O’Neal, age 81, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009. She was born January 23, 1928, in Paulding County, and was preceded in death by her parents, Ed & Ella Causey, and her husband, Gordon W. O’Neal. Mrs. O’Neal was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons & daughter-in-law, Gary & Angie O’Neal of Dallas and Jerry O’Neal of Dallas; daughter & son-in-law, Jane & Sammy Mitchell of Dallas; sister, Eva Mae Gurley of Dallas; grandchildren, Rusty White, Alisha Seger & husband, James, and Latosha Hulsey; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at 3:00pm, from Beulahland Baptist Church, with Reverend Bobby Smallwood and Reverend Glenn Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rusty White, Wayne Gurley, Tony Pace, Randy Potter, Dan Ross and Kenneth O’Neal. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and on Tuesday from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
