Marie Norton

Marie L. Norton, age 67, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She was born on June 29, 1947, in Americus, GA, to the late Herman & Lessie Lane. Mrs. Norton was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church in Villa Rica, GA. Her days were spent on her computer playing word games with friends. She cherished the time she spent with family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include husband of 26 years, Jerry Norton of Dallas, GA; children, Chip & Rita Greene of Flovilla, GA, Chris & Dianne Greene of Douglasville, GA, Carla Warren of Temple, GA, and April & Paul Richman of Dallas, GA; step-children, Wayne Norton of Dallas, GA, David & Cathy Norton of Glenpool, OK, and Pam Norton of Dallas, GA; sisters, Beverly Hargrove of Cobb, GA, and Betty Sue Baskin of Woodbury, GA; thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015, at 2:00 PM, from Kennesaw Memorial Park, with Brother Eddie Wyatt officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 1, 2015, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
