Marijo Cordell

It is with heavy hearts that we celebrate the life of Marijo Cordell, a beloved wife, mom, and grandmother who passed away on August 1, 2024. Marijo, born on March 19, 1957, filled her days with joy through her passion for crafting and spending time with her cherished grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. She was a dedicated wife to her loving husband, Perry Cordell, who supported her in all her endeavors.

Marijo is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Oder; and her son, Kenneth Jerome Cordell.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Perry Cordell; their children, Vanessa and her husband, Jeff Kinsey, and Chris and his wife, Dana Cordell; her mother, Maralee Oder; seven grandchildren, Caden Cordell, Addie Cordell, Peyton Kinsey, Leila and her husband, Tom Alder, Brantley Mauldin, Brayden Mauldin, Braeleigh Mauldin; brothers, Jim and his wife, Pala DuBois, Tim and his wife, Jill DuBois; sisters, Kim and her husband, David Stonecipher, Susie DuBois; and many nieces and nephews.

In honor of Marijo's remarkable life, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Jim DuBois and Tim DuBois officiating.

Prior to the service, visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church.
