Marjorie Louise Bernard, age 84, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. She was born on October 13, 1933 in Spanish Town, Jamaica to the late Lester Shaw and Beatrice Thomas. Mrs. Bernard worked as a Registered Nurse for Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York for 23 years and attended The First Assembly of God Church. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Mrs. Bernard was a wonderful provider and loved her family endlessly. She greatly enjoyed learning about new things, shopping, cooking and making jokes whenever she could. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved sister, Rita Clark.
Survivors include her husband, Franklin Bernard, her daughter, Charmaine Bernard – Joseph, step children; Fabian, Michael, Richard, Karen, Diana, Mark, and Johnathan Bernard, as well as several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bernard will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM from The Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brad Fussell officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service on September 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00 AM
