Mark Serrano

June 9, 1952 — August 6, 2021

Mr. Mark Serrano, age 69 of Stone Mountain, Georgia, passed away on August 6, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cathie Tibbitts Serrano. Mark proudly served in the United States Air Force and was employed by AT&T for almost 47 years. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Snellville, GA. Mark was a brilliant, kind, and generous man and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mr. Serrano is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Rafaella Serrano; sister, Carmen Serrano; brother, Frank Serrano.

Mark is survived by his brothers, Johnny Serrano, Angel Serrano, Nestor Guevarra, and Lenny Serrano; along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Serrano will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 3:00 PM with Mr. Rob Kalpak and Ms. Patti Morman speaking. Interment will follow at New Canaan Baptist Church with the following as pallbearers: Blake Tibbitts, Terry Tibbitts, Angel Serrano, Johnny Serrano, Nestor Guevarra, and Allen Eison. The honorary pallbearers will be Brent Smith, Lenny Serrano, and T.J. Stanger. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.

The family is giving the option of flowers or donations to be made to Veteran Empowerment Organization at veoheo.org or Americas Heroes Deserve A Second Chance at secur.qgiv.com.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns.
