Marlene Gantt, age 69, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. She was born on August 8, 1947, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Richard & Bernice Gantt, and was preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Swanson, Gale Obert, and Patti Cornell, and Godson, Joshua Brown.
Survivors include her partner, Lisa Brown of Dallas, GA; daughters, Kimberly Alexander of Dallas, GA, and Tiffany White Chapman of Marietta, GA; son, William Raoul White, JR; brothers, Paul & Carolyn Gantt of Brooks Woolsey, GA, and Charles & Patsy Gantt; sisters, Beverly McKinney, Bobbie & Bob White, Brenda & Earl Fishburne of Douglasville, GA, and Betty & Tom Downey; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor G. Evett Guyton officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 15, 2017, from 1 PM until the time of service.
