Martha Ann Marbut

Martha Ann "Nanny" Marbut passed away January 25, 2022. She was born on February 21, 1942 to the late Robert and Beulah Bowman. Nanny was known as the rock of the family. She loved spending time with her family and enjoying creating photo albums for them. She was a social butterfly who never knew a stranger. Martha enjoyed gardening, cooking, and her family especially enjoyed her banana pudding. She was very loved and will be missed.

Nanny is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Beulah and seven siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years; Ronald Steve "Pops" Marbut, her children; Deborah (Joe) Barber, Stephanie (Lloyd) Cleveland, and David (Misty) Marbut, her sisters; Ethel Marie West, Norma Jean Parker, eleven grandchildren; Stephen (Kristian) Richardson, Cassi (Joe) Robinette, Eric (Meagan) Cleveland, Erin (Scott) Smith, Corey (Lauren) Barber, John (Kate) Madison, Tyler (Bethany) Barber, Kristine (Mike) Gromlovits, Jessica Madison, Emily Cleveland, Laura Cleveland, and nineteen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services for Mrs. Martha will be on Monday, January 31, 2022 with a visitation from 12:00pm until 2:00pm with a service beginning at 2:00pm with Reverend Charles Gibbs and Tyler Barber officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Gardens with Stephen Richardson, Eric Cleveland, Corey Barber, Tyler Barber, Scott Smith, and John Madison serving as pallbearers.
