Marvine Jones, age 90, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. She was born on November 12, 1929 in Marietta, GA, to her late parents; Allen and Sadie Kuykendoll. Mrs. Jones worked as a seamstress for 40 years and was a faithful member of New Canaan Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Maxwell, second husband, Loyd Jones, three sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Trina and her husband, Jeff Sylvester of Dallas, GA, sons; Gary Jones of Dallas, GA, David and his wife, Debbie Jones of Smyrna, GA, grandchildren; Hannah Shadrix, Jesse (Lexi) Shadrix, Lori (Dan) Coffey, Jonathan Sylvester, Chris (Rachel) Jones, Kim (Justin) Gibson, Shannon (Chris) Noggle, Jamie Jones, Kelli (Terry) Green, Jessie Jones, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild on the way, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Marvine Jones will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at New Canaan Baptist Church at 3:00 PM with Rev. Don Rackley and Dr. Jason Loudermilk officiating. Interment will follow the service at New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Jimmy Davis, Wayne Jackson, Dwight Crawford, Brian Bozeman, Ben Brown and Curt Brown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Flowers are welcomed or donations can be made to New Canaan Baptist Church to the Lottie Moon Foundation.
