Mary Benson

Mary Ruth Benson, age 84, of Rockmart, GA (Paulding County), passed away Monday, December 2, 2013. She was born, January 31, 1929, in Atlanta, GA, and was preceded in death by her father, William Ernest Sparrow, mother, Ida Bernice Sparrow, and husband, Jess Benson. Mrs. Benson retired from Plaza Shoes in Dallas, GA and was a member of Grace Covenant Church.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, David & Linda Benson of Rockmart, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Teresa & Joe Queen of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Regina Cameron (Ray), JoAnne Reinalda (Chad), Rebekah Prewett (Shawn), and Chad Benson; great-grandchildren, Ragen Cameron, Reece Cameron, Naomi Reinalda, Halle Reinalda, Chloe Reinalda, and Enzley Prewett.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 2:00 PM, from Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Clark Funeral Home, from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM.
