Mary Thrasher

Mary Inez Thrasher, age 86, of Mableton, GA, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2009. She was born July 11, 1923 in Roswell, GA and was preceded in death by her father, Jake Fowler, mother, Azlee Harris and husband, William H. Thrasher. Mrs. Thrasher was a member of Clarkdale First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Bobby & Wanda Thrasher of Powder Springs, GA, Steve & Marti Thrasher of Powder Springs, GA and Barry Thrasher of Marietta; daughter & son-in-law, Barbara “Babs” & Alan Carter of Marietta, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Vernon & Jean Fowler of Douglasville, GA and Wiley & Toni Fowler of Scottsdale, AZ; sisters & brothers-in-law, Florene Whitfield Brooks of Mableton, GA, Dorothy & Bill Brewer of Cumming, GA, and Dale & Larry Hutto of Barnesville, GA; sister-in-law, Martha Fowler of Dahlonega, GA; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2009, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Doc Frady officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
