Mary "Sue" (Pope) Tibbitts

Mary "Sue" Tibbitts passed away March 27, 2022. She was born on September 7, 1934 to the late Charles and Mamie Pope. Sue was an extremely talented homemaker excelling in sewing, cooking, canning, and gardening. She had quite the green thumb. She loved growing flowers, houseplants, and many fruits and vegetables. She adored her family and devoted her life to taking care of them. Sue was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be very missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Umbrey Tibbitts; her daughter, Connie Tibbitts; sisters, Helen Pope and Cheryl Thomason. She is survived by her son, Tony (Debbie) Tibbitts; daughters, Retha Tibbitts, Tammy (Stuart) Kone; sister, Carla Holden; grandchildren, Erin (Mike) Kinzer, Cassie (Bo) Hutchinson, Molly (Douglas) Cochran, Harrison (Annelise) Kone, Tyler (Hattie) Kone, Ryan Kone; great-grandchildren, Madison Gipson, Lily Gipson, Andrew Gipson, Ava Kone, Eden Kone, Colin Kinzer, Kayla Kinzer, and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Services for Mrs. Tibbitts will be held at Paulding Memorial Gardens on Friday, April 1, 2022.
