Matt Todd Dinsmore

Matt Dinsmore, age 40, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. He was born on July 10, 1978, in Lynchburg, VA, and was preceded in death by his father, Richard Harry Dinsmore. Matt loved spending time with his family and gaming with his nephew, Mica. He loved music, golf, disc golf, and was always the first one to start the fireworks display.

Survivors include his husband of eight years, Matthew Chavis of Atlanta, GA; mother, Patricia (Chuck) Geselius of Hiram, GA; siblings, Carrie Dinsmore of Greenville, KY, David (Amy) Haynes of Dallas, GA, Richard E. Dinsmore II of Carrollton, GA, and Ben Dinsmore of Charleston, SC: grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin A. Kirsch of Lynchburg, VA; nieces and nephews, Jade Smith, Adriana Staples, Mica O’Neal, Roman Dahl and Sawyer Dinsmore.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 4 PM until 6 PM.
