Matthew Christopher York

Matthew Christopher York, 26, passed away on October 24, 2022. He was born on August 27, 1996 to Jeff York and Janet Wallace. Matthew was such a beautiful soul. He was always smiling and had a heart of gold. If he ever saw anyone struggling or having a hard time, Matthew would waste no time going to help. He had a true sense of what it meant to be a good person. He loved his family and friends deeply and made sure to let them know it. Matthew was an amazing, soft-hearted person, and he will be so, so missed.

Matthew is preceded in death by his sister, Olivia Allen. He is survived by his parents, Jeff York and Janet (Donny) Wallace; his sister, Haley York; grandmother, Margaret "Jenny" White; grandmother, Ann Priest; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Services for Matthew will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 28, 2022 beginning at 2:00pm.
