Maxine Baillio, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 68. She was born on April 25, 1956 in Mississippi to David and Marie Brown. She was a loving wife to her husband, Arthur Baillio Jr., and cherished spending time outdoors tending to her garden and planting flowers. Maxine had a passion for cooking and delighted in preparing meals for her family. Her love for crafting and playing bingo brought her joy, as did her guilty pleasure of watching soap operas. Maxine was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Baker, Louisiana and was also the head cook for the school system in Baton Rouge. She was an incredible wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, David Brown Sr. and Marie Brown; brothers, Jimbo Brown; Jerry Brown Jr., David Brown Jr.; sisters, Diane Coleman, Linda Gilbert, and Katherine Simpson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Arthur Baillio Jr.; son, Joseph (Nichole) Baillio; grandchildren, Tius (Mikayla) Smith-Baillio, Blaze (Zada) Baillio, Zane Baillio; brothers, Jackie Brown, Leora Brown, Tommy Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Maxine will be held at Sam Clark Chapel on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Don Rackley officiating.
Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Jacob Ducote, Tyson Cooper, Roy Cornwell, Chris Bailey, Jerry Nicholas, and Randy Ducote serving as pallbearers.
