Melodie Mauthe, age 53, of Temple, GA, passed away on Saturday 13, 2016 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, GA. She was born on January 18, 1963, in Patterson, New Jersey, to her late father, Bob Tomlin & her mother, Mary Tripsis Tomlin. Melodie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished her family.
Survivors include her husband of over thirty years, Jeffrey Mauthe, Sr.; sons, J.D. Mauthe & wife, Stephanie of Douglasville, GA, Anthony Castillo of Lagrange, GA; daughters, Sondra Silvers of Savannah, GA, Nicole Mauthe of Temple, GA; brother, Bobby Tomlin & wife, Helen of Patterson, NJ; sister, Tina Malava & husband, Johnny of Patterson, New Jersey; seven grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at 3:00 PM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Allen Richburg officiating. In accordance to Mrs. Mauthe’s wishes, her body will be cremated following the service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers the family graciously requests that contributions may be made to Clark Funeral Home to help with the cost of funeral expenses for Melodie. They appreciate any and all who are willing to help.
