Michael Spradling

Michael Spradling, age 73, passed away on June 30, 2021 at Select Medical in Midtown, Atlanta. Mr. Spradling was born on September 23, 1947 to his late parents, Tom Lesley and Mary Anne Spradling. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Dallas, GA and worked as an office manager for more than 30 years at Bethesda Family Practice.  He attended Ga State University in Atlanta where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration. Michael enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball. He was known as a Braves and Ga Tech fan. Mr. Spradling is preceded in death by his daughter, Lesley Coppola. Mr. Spradling was known by his family as an amazing husband, father, hard worker, and was there for anyone who needed him. Loved his grandchildren, Maddie and Lilly and having tea parties with them.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Joy Spradling; son, Joe Spradling; brothers, Tommy (Bonnie) Spradling of Asheville, NC and Bill (Betsy) Spradling Fairhope, AL; grandchildren, Maddie Coppola and Lilly Coppola; nieces, Brooks (Chris) Flanders of Asheville, NC and Stephanie Spradling of Mobile, AL; nephews, Tommy (Sharon) Spradling of Greensboro, NC and Michael (Brenda) Spradling of San Antonio, TX; along with many great nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Spradling will be held graveside at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Dallas, GA on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 3:00 PM with Dr. Sam Clark officiating.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns.
