Mildred Sailers

Mildred Brannon Sailers, age 88, of Austell, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2008. She was born November 18, 1919, in Roopeville, GA, and was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Brannon & Susan Jane Brannon, and her husband, Ellis Leslie Sailers. Mrs. Sailers was a caterer and she was a member of Austell First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Larry & Jean Sailers of Villa Rica and Jon & Jo Sailers of Dallas; daughter & son-in-law, Pat & Johnny Johnson of Elijay; sister-in-law, Edna Brannon of Austell; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and special cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008, at 11:00am, Austell First United Methodist Church, with Reverend Brett DeHart officiating. (Mrs. Sailers will lie-in-state from 10:00am until the service time.) Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Larry Sailers, Jr., Stewart Sailers, Joey Sailers, Jeff Sailers, Michael Sailers, and Todd Johnson will serve as pallbearers. Chris Tate will serve as the honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
