Myrtle Jones Ross, age 75, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. She was born on June 8, 1940, in Blairsville, GA, to the late Jewel & Edna Jones. Mrs. Ross retired from BellSouth after 35 years, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband of 54 years, William Wallace Ross of Hiram, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Mike & Rhonda Ross of Hiram, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred Sellers of Marietta, GA, Mable & Frank Hughes of Marietta, GA, Joyce & Junior Baldwin of Lithia Springs, GA, and Linda & Allen Nichols of Young Harris, GA; grandchildren, Justin & Madison Ross, and Katie-Brooke Ross; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Lamar Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 23, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
